Daddy's office got "flocked" with flamingos this week so we went at lunch on Wednesday to see them. Julia wanted to hug ALL of them and even let us know which ones were "SO cute!" We had a beautiful day and even got a Chick-fil-A lunch at daddy's office. Now the flamingos will be "flying" over to Julia and Gracie's pediatrician office next door to the Woman's Clinic.

March for Babies
We walked in the March of Dimes March for Babies today at the Jackson Fairgrounds. Julia was probably the most dressed up "walker" there as she didn't want to change her clothes after church, so she got to wear her "bunny hop-hop dress" to the walk! She looks ready to walk and taking her directions in the pic above.
Jaxon Young, our Woman's Clinic mascot - he was born at 31 weeks delivered by Dr. Roy and is now almost six months old! Isn't he adorable?
Gracie had the best seat of all the walkers - she got to be strolled the whole way and even took a little bit of a nap during our 3 mile trek!
Our team picture - we had a great turnout from the Woman's Clinic and a beautiful day for the walk! Gracie is hiding in the back in her stroller (probably still sleeping!). Thanks for all your support, Woman's Clinic!

Zoo Day!
We took a trip to Memphis today and went to the Zoo! Julia had the best time and told us that her favorite parts were the "daddy giraffe" , the ducks and the "cock-a-doos (roosters)."
Daddy and Julia watching the elephants. We only saw two elephants, the "mommy and daddy" elephants. She told us that the baby elephant went to join the circus.

Had the glass not been there, Julia would have been able to touch the panda bear that was eating his snack. She made sure that everyone around us knew that the panda was eating!

Ryan's Elmo Cake
So, the story is that someone asked Julia what kind of cake her daddy was going to get for his birthday. Well, of course, Julia answered, "Elmo cake!" so we ended up with a red Elmo cake for his birthday at Neena's! Be careful what you ask a two-year old if you are not ready for their answer because they do NOT forget what they told you!
Don't worry, he did get a "normal" cake from us on his birthday last Saturday. Julia was most concerned on getting all the icing and the dots off her cake.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Ryan's birthday isn't until Saturday, but we went to Red Robin to celebrate a couple of days early. Once they found out that it was his birthday, they brought him a birthday sundae and balloons which was the highlight of Julia's day! Happy birthday Ryan from your girls!

Babies Sleeping
We never know where we will find Julia sleeping these days. Above is a picture taken at bedtime right before we moved her to her bed for the night. At least she is on the mat and not sleeping on the floor. She always starts out in her bed, but has figured out how to get out even with the rails and pillows that are supposed to "contain" her!
I found her today sleeping on her window seat in her room at naptime. Notice in the picture below where everything went that had previously been in the window seat. It must be very comfortable up there - she took a 3 hour nap there!
I just had to get a picture of Gracie sleeping! Of course this child can sleep anywhere too! Now, if they will just take naps at the SAME time and help mommy out a little bit!
