Egg Bowl!

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend, eating lots of turkey and GOOD food! We went to the Ole Miss/State game on Friday and had such a good time! I think that Gracie is trying to say "Hotty Toddy, beat STATE!" in the above picture!
Julia got a chance to dance with her "favorite" cheerleaders before the game and even got to shake their "shiny" pom-poms!
The EGG BOWL trophy! It was a SHUTOUT! Can't wait for Bowl Season-maybe Cotton Bowl?

Auburn Game(s)

We have been to two straight Auburn games over the past two weeks! First, Ole Miss and Auburn in Oxford and we got this cute pic of Julia with some of her "favorite cheerleaders" as she would say! Then, we went to Auburn for the UTM game! We had a great time with our family and some good friends! Julia and Gracie wore their UTM shirts that Uncle Nick and Aunt Cathy gave them, but the Skyhawks just couldn't pull it out! At least Granny is happy for a 1-1 record from those two games!

Happy Halloween!

We had a VERY busy weekend with Halloween on Friday night and then the Ole Miss/Auburn game on Saturday. Here are some adorable pictures of the girls in their costumes at home before we trick-or-treated. As you can see, Gracie was already pulling candy out of the bucket BEFORE we even got started. Good thing she just likes the package and doesn't know that she can't have the candy yet!
Isn't this just the sweetest thing you have ever seen? She even was very interested in all flowers (as all butterflies should be) as we were making our trick-or treat journey down Northwood.
Ready to go.....such a cute little bumble bee! We had a great time trick-or-treating on the street and then to the Hymers' house for Bill's annual birthday party! All the kids had SO much fun!

Pumpkin Carving!

We carved 4 pumpkins today, one for each of us! Julia and Gracie were most helpful just watching while Daddy did all the designing and cutting! This is one of our favorite pics of Julia and Gracie looking on!
Julia got really excited seeing the design "come to life!"
Hmmmm...what's Daddy next move?
The finished products!

Halloween Preview

We got to wear our Halloween costumes to music class today, so I took a couple of pictures for our preview to Friday night! Let's hope the weather holds out and we get to have our annual trick-or-treat on Northwood! The girls are SO excited!
Already looking for the candy! She may not have a real meal for a few days after Halloween (or we will have to hide the STASH!).

My First Donuts!

This morning, Daddy went and got us some Halloween donuts (pumpkins, ghosts, and spider sprinkles on them) and some donut holes for Gracie! You can see how much the girls enjoyed them!
Julia showing off her ghost sprinkle!
Mmmmm...Mommy, that's good!

We had a fun day on Saturday, we went on a little trip to get some pumpkins. Julia and Gracie in the wagon at the Green Acres Pumpkin Patch
Watch me eat this leaf!
Julia didn't really want to take many photos, but we did get a good one.
We also had a tea party this week, fun fun fun!!!

Smiling Gracie

I caught this picture of Gracie the other day.....if you look REALLY CLOSE you can see her bottom two teeth that she is trying to show off! We had a great relaxing weekend at home, but are looking forward to being in Oxford for Homecoming this coming weekend! More pics to come after that!

Fall Photo Shoot at Pappy's

Well, we had a fall photo shoot at "Pappy's work" last week. The only thing is, both girls were definitely NOT feeling their best! These pics were the best that we could get! We NEVER got a smile from Gracie, but her pictures are cute too! Oh well, we will try again when both girls are feeling better, so come back later for those!

First Day of Playschool

Julia started her first day at her new school today! She is now in school at First Presbyterian Playschool, her daddy's alma mater from 30 years ago! She was so excited and even told me, "Mommy, time for you to go" after we got her settled in her classroom! Oh well, how fast they grow, right?

My New Teeth and HOTTY TODDY!

Gracie got two new teeth this week - her bottom front ones! She has been such a good sport about it, but still won't let anyone see them unless you get her giggling! We also went to Oxford this weekend for the Rebels home opener and had such a GOOD time!
Just chilling in the Grove before the game. We spent a lot of time in the Grove before the game, but we had LOTS to entertain us - snacks, Ole Miss band and of course, cheerleaders!
Julia even got to pose with one of the Rebelettes before the pre-game show! What a great weekend - AND the Rebels beat those "stinky Tigers" from Memphis, too!

Smile Everyone!

Thought we'd get some pictures of the whole family too! A great family picture of Ryan and his GIRLS!
This was the best picture that we could get of both girls together on the beach! Maybe next year we can get one of JUST the two of them!
The Roy family with Granny and Dandaddy on "picture night."

Beach Pics - Julia and Gracie

Gracie got to try some of Granny's cake when we celebrated! Don't worry, she just had enough icing to cover the outside of her mouth! But, she is definitely her father's child and LOVED it like Julia does!
We went to Lulu's one afternoon for a late lunch/early supper and caught Gracie checking out the menu. She's looking at getting the "Cheeseburger in Paradise!"
Julia got to see Captain Hook at Souvenir City one afternoon in Gulf Shores! She loves the Peter Pan movie or as she calls it, "Tink" and was so excited that she got to see Hook's boat!
Julia's favorite time - ICE CREAM time!
