Santa did indeed stop to see the Roy girls this year! Here's a picture of the STASH before the girls got into it!
Julia had such a great time opening ALL of the gifts and was such a good helper for the rest of us!
All the excitement just wore Gracie out
The NEW ride! Better watch out on Northwood - Julia's driving NOW!

Train Museum & a Visit to Santa
On Saturday we went to the train museum in downtown Jackson and had a GREAT time! We have been meaning to get there as we have found out that both girls LOVE trains, but finally found a morning that we could get there! The girls loved sitting in the train car and being able to go inside a real dining car AND red caboose (below)! We spent lots of time looking at the HUGE model train set that they had set up in a whole room!!!
Ryan and the girls outside the RED caboose!
After our visit to the museum, we stopped by to see Santa at his house downtown. This was our LAST opportunity to let him know exactly what we wanted. Even though Gracie did NOT want to sit on his lap, Julia made sure that Santa had taken care of both of their lists! What a FUN Saturday morning!

Princess Birthday Cookies
Julia got to take pink princess crown cookies to school this week to celebrate her birthday (a week EARLY because of Christmas vacation). She helped me get the dough all ready and even helped me get the princess crowns just right on the pan before baking. It looks like I have disturbed her hard work in the pic above. Sorry, we forgot to take pictures of the final product but they were SO yummy! We have an upcoming princess birthday party this weekend! Wish us luck (with the weather AND the party)!!!!

Christmas Preview
We got some cute pictures of the girls in front of our tree last weekend after we got it up and decorated. We hope to get a "Christmas card picture" this coming weekend with their Christmas dresses. Hopefully they will cooperate as well as they did with these pictures. They are growing up so fast.....!!!!

Egg Bowl!
We had a great Thanksgiving weekend, eating lots of turkey and GOOD food! We went to the Ole Miss/State game on Friday and had such a good time! I think that Gracie is trying to say "Hotty Toddy, beat STATE!" in the above picture!
Julia got a chance to dance with her "favorite" cheerleaders before the game and even got to shake their "shiny" pom-poms!
The EGG BOWL trophy! It was a SHUTOUT! Can't wait for Bowl Season-maybe Cotton Bowl?

Auburn Game(s)
We have been to two straight Auburn games over the past two weeks! First, Ole Miss and Auburn in Oxford and we got this cute pic of Julia with some of her "favorite cheerleaders" as she would say! Then, we went to Auburn for the UTM game! We had a great time with our family and some good friends! Julia and Gracie wore their UTM shirts that Uncle Nick and Aunt Cathy gave them, but the Skyhawks just couldn't pull it out! At least Granny is happy for a 1-1 record from those two games!

Happy Halloween!
We had a VERY busy weekend with Halloween on Friday night and then the Ole Miss/Auburn game on Saturday. Here are some adorable pictures of the girls in their costumes at home before we trick-or-treated. As you can see, Gracie was already pulling candy out of the bucket BEFORE we even got started. Good thing she just likes the package and doesn't know that she can't have the candy yet!
Isn't this just the sweetest thing you have ever seen? She even was very interested in all flowers (as all butterflies should be) as we were making our trick-or treat journey down Northwood.
Ready to go.....such a cute little bumble bee! We had a great time trick-or-treating on the street and then to the Hymers' house for Bill's annual birthday party! All the kids had SO much fun!

Pumpkin Carving!
We carved 4 pumpkins today, one for each of us! Julia and Gracie were most helpful just watching while Daddy did all the designing and cutting! This is one of our favorite pics of Julia and Gracie looking on!
Julia got really excited seeing the design "come to life!"
Hmmmm...what's Daddy next move?
The finished products!

Halloween Preview
We got to wear our Halloween costumes to music class today, so I took a couple of pictures for our preview to Friday night! Let's hope the weather holds out and we get to have our annual trick-or-treat on Northwood! The girls are SO excited!
Already looking for the candy! She may not have a real meal for a few days after Halloween (or we will have to hide the STASH!).

My First Donuts!
This morning, Daddy went and got us some Halloween donuts (pumpkins, ghosts, and spider sprinkles on them) and some donut holes for Gracie! You can see how much the girls enjoyed them!
