We kicked off our summer in the pool this Memorial day weekend. We have two little fish swimmers that love being in the water!

The girls and I went to a "jumper" birthday party for a 3 year old friend of ours last week! Right after we finished singing "happy birthday," the photographer looked over and caught this cute picture of both of my girls hugging! I saw it all happen and thought, "see, they can be sweet to each other" and "that sure would be a cute picture if she caught it." So, she did and now we all get to enjoy a sweet moment shared between two sisters!

Well, we had a GREAT time at Disney and have lots of pictures to go through! So, here is a quick preview of some of our favorite characters!

After a gray day at our Northwood Hunt, we had a beautiful Sunday afternoon for our church Easter egg hunt on the grounds of Lambuth University. As always, there was plenty of fun between the jumper, decorating cookies and of course face painting!

We had a chilly, gray day for our FIFTH annual Easter Egg hunt, but everyone bundled up and we had lots of fun with our neighborhood friends. We definitely look forward to this every year and all the children and adults had a great time together again this year!

We won't disclose Daddy's age, but he just had a birthday that was a big one before the BIG one! So, being good mommy and daughters that we are, we made him a birthday cake and showered him with birthday gifts, hugs and a special dinner!

We went to Memphis last weekend with the intention of going to the Zoo and My Big Backyard to play, but the weather was NOT going to cooperate with those plans! So, we made an afternoon trip to the Children's Museum and had a blast! We got to go fishing in the mighty Mississippi, drove a firetruck, worked a Kroger checkout, flew a FedEx plane, explored the treehouse and danced, danced, danced!!!!!

We went down to the Jackson Mardi Gras parade on Tuesday. Even though the weather was a little bit rainy, we had a great time watching the floats and catching beads! These girls are champions at scoring beads! Watch out New Orleans, 2027!

Gracie had a great THIRD birthday party, "Under The Sea!" We had some friends over as well as some big sisters and brothers and had a wonderful party! What a cute little birthday girl!

After all of our recent snow days, we were SO happy to have a spring like day in January! Of course we tried to spend as much of the day outside so here are some highlights of our "springy" day!

We got a few inches of snow on Sunday night so we got a day off school on Monday (to play in it!) Cute little snow bunnies posing in front of the house! It all looks SO pretty!

We toasted (early) with sparkling apple juice! The girls were excited about a NEW year and their fancy apple juice, but it wasn't *quite* the taste that they were expecting! :)
How we spent our New Year's - with lots of dress up and performances! Guess that shouldn't have surprised us since that is how we spend the majority of our nights at home! :) Hope everyone has a great new year and looking forward to many exciting things in 2011!
